MOUNTIAN VIEW, CA – Let’s face it, technology can be a gift and a curse – especially when it comes to sending emails.
Whether you’ve pressed the send button prematurely, or deliberately sent an angry message that may ruin your relationship with the receiver – it’s safe to say we’ve all been there before.
Well, Google is here to wipe away our cyber tears by introducing the “un-send” button. Yep, you can now take back your emails you send via Gmail. But here’s the catch, you only have seconds to do it. Once you go to your settings to activate the feature and you send a message, a link will pop up offering you to “undo” your action.
Whew! Now if only there was such a function for text messages. Well, actually there is – it’s called On Second Thought. The app, created by 23 year-old Maci Peterson, offers a 60-second grace period. And it’s available through the Google Play Store.
So whether you need to take back an Email, or retract a drunken text, don’t fret – these features got you covered!
