I Look Like an Investor (ILLI) is a thoughtful, inspiring c ommunity of Black women who are passionate about economic empowerment and inclusion. We create a stronger investor identity for Black women by bringing together power brokers and rising stars who are interested in making an extraordinary impact on their finances by becoming investors in startups and small businesses. ILLI demystifies what it takes to become an astute investor by sharing the knowledge and experiences of those who have already built successful investment portfolios so that other Black women can see that investing in startups and small businesses is “for me” too.
